Assessment/ Examination

Assessment for learning is an approach to teaching and learning that creates feedback that is then used to improve students’ performance. It connects teaching and assessment objectives across curriculum frameworks and syllabuses and helps in the individual learning of the student.

Assessment of learning is extremely crucial in facilitating the learning of all pupils involved. We strongly believe that assessment is an on-going process that supplements and complements learning at the same time. The assessment practices and procedures at Awaken involve both major types of assessments i.e. Formative and Summative.

General Expectations

Students are expected to show respect, maintain cleanliness, and follow Islamic greetings and school rules. Disciplinary matters are handled by the Principal or Vice Principal.

For planned absences, contact the Principal or Vice Principal at least three days in advance. We advise scheduling medical appointments after school hours or during holidays when possible.
